i bought one of these a while back and it was more then satisfactory. it was razor sharp sturdy and had a comfortable grip, the only down side was the sheath (at least the only one at the time) the sheath fell apart in a week and i just fixed it with duct tape and that work perfectly. however i recently discovered another downside to this knife. its cast, not forged or stamped. i was chopping through some fallen tree branches and when the blade hit a branch it literally broke clean in half about an inch up the blade and almost gored my arm. i no longer trust United Cutlery. if you buy this for actual use then stay to branches under 2 inches in diameter, other then that its a wall hanger.Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "United Cutlery UC2624 M48 Kommando Kukhri Machete Knife with Nylon Sheath" are high quality item.
