I had to deform the torch tab a little by hand to make it fit. It was easy and it now works reliably as intended, holding my torch. The base is sufficiently heavy to make it stable The extra tip storage holes in the base are too tight and will not fit the tips without some enlargement. Given that fine tips stored there are exposed to dust and may get dirty or clogged, storing tips in that spot may not be a great idea anyway.
