Purchased for a relative who is a full-time home improvement contractor. He dislikes wearing a toolbelt due to weight and cumbersomeness. Noticed on a job at my house that he was constantly looking for his measuring tape, and, in fact had 3 or 4 spread out in the area. Asked him about the clip-on tape holders, and he said the tape popped off too often. I had seen a carpenter years ago use a tape with magnets that just slpped on a belt holder. This product was the closest I could find. My relative reports the tape of good quality, and that the magnetic mechanism works well. Now he has five tapes to scatter around a job!!!!!!!!!!
