I incorrectly received the pliers with plastic grips. This was not an issue as the plastic/rubber handles crumbled off easily (don't bother buying the plastic handled version). I was really hoping these would be high quality stainless that could be used in the kitchen (e.g. taking the membrane off of ribs, etc). Unfortunately there is rust on these after the first wash. They seem like fine pliers, so they still get a three star rating.
