Stanley FatMax Extreme 9mm Snap-Off Knife Review

This is a very nice 9mm snap-blade knife, that is not very large but has a pretty comfortable hold. I actually like it better than the OLFA SVR-2 for hold, but the OLFA is light weight and very slim so it is better to carry in some pockets or small organizers. Both these 9mm cutters feature automatic blade locking and are easy to adjust. A very high quality knife with steel and aluminum construction, this one weighs in at 2.2oz (62.6g), the OLFA is just 0.69oz (19.5g). Adjustment is very smooth and a strong metal pocket clip on the back is useful but makes it just a bit less comfortable for some holds as the corners of the clip extent past the back of the knife and can dig into my palm.

Amazon is currently (2013.08.23) showing an incorrect product image, this one (10-411) has a metal clip/blade-snapper in the back, not black plastic and does no have the thumb screw lock at the tip, and there is no lanyard hole. The description was accurate.
