I recently purchased this set of knife set after owning other ceramic knives. This is a very nice set and though the holder is plastic it looks nice. Be sure to cut on a wood or plastic cutting board as glass or marble will chip the knife. Also be sure to hand wash as most are not dishwasher safe. Though one got put in the dishwasher by mistake and it handled it okay. I really like these knives, they cut through fresh bread or fresh fruits without smashing them.
