Grip on pliers are very high quality, made in spain, European-engineered tools. I love how they are easy opening, with the lever pushing in, instead of the little leverage levers on vice grips. i have not yet used the 4 pliers i just received, but they seem to be very well made.

the reason i give this 3 stars, not 5, is because I can't understand how a company can sell their own product and have an incorrect picture of the pliers they are selling. I admit i did not read the description closely, but after I looked through grip-on's catalog and determined they only sell one pair of their locking pliers with the cable groove, i then found it pictured here, so i knew it was the one i wanted and ordered it. now i either keep the ones i got (which are actually quite good flat jaw pliers) or i order the correct pair (122-07) and spend more than i intended.
