Stanley Model 85-786 Ergonomic Handle Adjustable Wrench Review

Whenever I need to tighten something up at work (plumbing) this is the wrench I turn to. The handle is very comfortable and fits the hand well. The head opens up to 1 3/4" I think which is more than almost every other wrench out there in comparable size. It doesn't hurt your hand like a normal crescent wrench does when really torquing on something. I like how it has measurements on the head of the wrench so you can read bolt head sizes and such. It is a little heavier than other wrenches but it is built to last and doesn't bend or have any slop in the head like all the others do. This tool is very precise and I use it as a smooth jaw wrench when I can cause of the thick jaws, precise head and because it is easier to use vs a smooth jaw. A smooth jaw wrench is only used when I have to tighten spuds on toilets/urinals. I have owned three of these. One was stolen on a job. The other I have been using heavily for 9 years and running. I have a back up that I keep at the house in the garage and use it every now and then on my cars. You will not find a better wrench. I have no idea why stanley discontinued these? I wish they made it in a smaller size for the little stuff but I still use this wrench on 3/8 tube nuts even though it is a bit large for the job. I really love this wrench lol.
