This is a really nice reproduction of the Ka-bar knife except for the tanto tip which wasn't on the origional. This is a heafty knife and weighs 10.6 ounces just like the origional. The Handle is leather with the black spacers being PVC, the end cap removes via a pin, the knife is full tang. There is a white film on the knife handle that is easily cleaned off with a damp rag.The blade is 440 stainless steel and the edges vary by knife. I've had them cut paper and then the next one needs 20 minutes of stone work out of the box. Comes with a super el-cheapo nylon sheath.

I ordered this knife due to it's resemblance to a K-Bar, that being said, this is no K-Bar. It was the style that did it for me, although it is not a high priced brand, it is a good, solid, sharp knife. I bought it for camping, and it has taken everything I've thrown at it! K-Bar it aint, but when you can get a knife of this quality for this price, who needs those big brand names? Don't get me wrong, K-Bar is an excellent brand, this is not a slam on them, I own 3 myself and find them quite reliable. I can do things with this knife I would never do with my KB's. If it breaks, I'm only out 20 instead of 60-80. As I said at the beginning,"I LOVE THIS KNIFE!!"
