I had heard comments about Condor quality control in the past, so I was skeptical to try this out. I don't know why I waited so long. If they had problems, they must have fixed them: I've purchased six of the same knife since then, to give to grand kids and friends. One of them sent me a picture of them standing on it, wedged in a tree. It came hair popping sharp out of the box, and the grind was good and even.
