Did a lot of research before buying this one. Found it to be the best compromise between cheap solar-powered 'foreign' auto-darkening helmets, and the top-of-the-line models for several hundred dollars (for all I know, this one may also be foreign-made, but I'll trust a product from Lincoln over "Harbor Fright" any day). Didn't want to really mess with my eyesight, so key selling points for me were the 1/25000 sec response rate, the quality of the construction and adjustments, and the Lincoln name to back it all up. I've already bought (and since sold) a lesser-quality welder, but this helmet will stay with me for the long haul. Oh..the cool graphics don't hurt either, and it's very light-weight. Would buy another.
