Product Description

The Leopard Damascus is forged out of the German battle tank Leopard I. This specialty steel is not available to the market because it was only used for the military. Our Damascus forger was fortunate to acquire some for Boker exclusively. A chromium-manganese and vanadium tool steel alloy was added to this extremely wear-resistant barrel steel. The result is a remarkably high hardness for Damascus steel (60-61◦ HRC). The pattern provided on the 300-layer blade is labeled "Small Pyramid." Blade length: 3 3/8". Overall length: 7 3/8". Weight: 4.4 oz.

it came extremely sharp out of the box, the blade is very strong and tough and it rests sharp very long. the blade has 300 layers of damascus steel and it was forged by Peter John Stienen ( the older models were forged by Markus Balbach). it is very well made, it is just perect. this knife was my dream for many, many years, now i finally have it!i love it:)
