Spyderco MOLLE Adapter Plate Review

I recently purchased a knife (Cold Steel GI Tanto Knife with Secure-Ex Sheath - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004H9DO4Y/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on Amazon, and I was trying to figure out how to attach it to my MOLLE gear. Online suggestions involved copious amounts of 550 parachute cord, ranger bands (cut pieces of bicycle inner tube), or purchasing a separate knife sheath. I do not mind spending money for a good product, but buying another sheath would mean I am wasting the original and may not get a sheath that fits my knife perfectly.

Then I found this product.

It had (or may still have, depending on when you read this) little to no descriptions and zero reviews (I'm the first!). After looking other places online I figured I would 'bet' on this product. And...the bet paid off!

The product arrived in new condition, so do not expect a knock-off, used, or otherwise poor product. The instructions are so simple that a 2nd grader could understand on the first attempt. They use both printed words and pictures to show you what to do. Basically, you weave the long plastic parts through the webbing, place the adapter plate on it, then weave the long part back through it. Finally, you lock it into place, attach your knife sheath onto it with the included screws. That's it. They do include Velcro straps to weave through the small slots, should you want some extra security in holding your knife in its sheath.

I highly recommend this product. It is a shame that the product description is lacking, which I feel may drive some customers away. I hope that they read this review from me, a very satisfied customer, and gain a greater understanding of this product.
