Quick snap of the wrist and this knife is ready. It is VERY light. It is red and can have a lanyard attached to it. Handle is fine and the texture for the hand is adequate for a pocket knife. I noticed mine has first edition stamped on one small area of the knife. This is a perfect summer knife for your shorts since so light or wonderful to any knife collection given the first edition stamping. Could you use it everyday? Sure but would you? Honestly, I found this knife sitting like a collectible more than actual everyday carry and use. The blade is wonderful with no sharpening needed out of the box.
