I purchased this knife from SMKW for less than $10. It is made in China but I find the quality to price ratio in this knife is outstanding! It says China on the box but it is nowhere stamped on the knife itself which I love. It kind of reminds me of the Byrd Cara Cara in design. The fit and finish on this one is great. G-10 handle is tough and comfortable in my large hand. The strong steel liners are skeletonized to reduce weight thus giving a knife of this size great EDC capability. I trust this liner lock and it locks into place with a solid and satisfying "click". This knife blade, once slightly adjusted to my liking, flys open with a flick of the thumb and has no blade wobble at all. This one came razor sharp out of the box. The steel blade sharpens back easily enough onced dulled. The pocket clip is high riding,similar to the SOG design and the knife just disappears in the pocket! Not too tight or rough on the pocket either. I have much more expensive knives that I love but this knife amazed me for its price point. I will get more of these X-Timer folders simply based on my experience with this knife.
