S. A. R. Tactical Search & Rescue Knife Review

The knife is pretty decent overall. The plastic grip is nothing great, but with a contoured handle it fits nicely in the hand. Locking mechanism feels quite sturdy, too. The blade itself has a nice look with its spear like design. It's also partially serrated, so that's a plus as well.

The biggest drawback for me is that its virtually impossible to open the knife one handed. I like a quick opening knife, with this one its fairly tough to fold it out in a hurry. So as a self defense knife, its pretty poor. However, as a general purpose utility knife its a pretty good bang for your buck.
