Bought two to re-shaft my Dalluge heads. One has performed as expected. The other broke the first nail I pulled and I'm not exaggerating. The one that broke was half light and half dark hickory, split right down the middle. If you have the misfortune of receiving one of these, return it. The dark hickory is garbage. Some of you will probably already know this. I didn't, and after one pry I was left with the same awesome Dalluge head and no handle. Now I know. Thinking of trying a Stilleto Tibone next time.
