Craftsman 10 pc Combination Ignition Wrench Set Review

I just recently had my tool kit stolen.
I had a 15 year old set of these wrenches in that kit.
The original set was beautifully made, they looked forged
and polished, they almost looked like a set of snap-on wrenches.
The old set was contained in a black plastic container, just
like the one shown on the Amazon image.
First of all, they came in a zip-lock bag,
(it has a craftsman logo and product description on the bag).
The wrenches in set looked stamped, not the finish quality I had expected.
I am not sending them back, I need this set of wrenches, they do work the same,
just the fit and finish is disappointing.

After one use it now makes this disconcerting ting sound as the machete wobbles. It is as though something got between the tang and the furniture, or something is even worse, the blade is split, sandwiched between the grips, and clicking together like two too long finger nails. Either way it is a bit disappointing.

*Update*

I sent the blade through an electric...I'm going to say it...sharpener to remove the dings created from knicking rocks and such. I believe the vibrations from the sharpener freed whatever was sandwiched inside and now the tinging stopped all together. I'm glad to say it was not anything wrong with the blade itself. With luck the sound will not come back. I have up-rated my opinion of this item.

Boker Appaloosa Bone Trapper Review

This is a great knife. All my life my father and grandfather have caried Boker Tree Brand knives. Finally I was able to get one and this is a really great pocket knife.

It came really sharp right out of the box. The craftmanship is wonderful. There is no wiggle in the blade at all and the it stays open pretty good. It was hard to open at first but after awhile it became easier. This Knife was worth every penny I paid for it.

Midwest Tool & Cutlery MW-P6716AS Serr L Cut Snip Review

I picked these up at local retail. I have a pair of similar (not the same though) wiss snips/cutter and this is a little better quality-wise (though the wiss snips were somewhat cheaper than the msrp on these). Everything seems to be made with professional use in mind as the construction is very good down to the spring and clasp. These are made for a variety of materials though I mainly use snips for sheet aluminum and rubber; they should hold up through a bunch of different stuff.

Limited lifetime warranty, made in us. It's a mail-in warranty though. Good steel, good construction, will last a long time. Will require oiling as they aren't stainless they are carbon steel.
