It took awhile to find a battery drill that's not made in China but I'm glad to have found it. This was my first Metabo purchase but not my last. I've bought several more Metabo grinders and drills for work and a sliding compound miter saw for myself. The "LT" series are made in Germany, need to watch some of the European looking drills are made in China. The battery life is outstanding and the power is as equally outstanding. The drill chuck is second to none, it holds drill bits tight and easy to loosen when ready to change bits. The hammer-drill functions well too, then it'll drive the "tap-con" screws with ease.
