This item would get 4-5 stars if I could actually read the footage markings on it. They are so blurry it would be very difficult to use it for measuring. Thinking about returning it and buying the Neptco 1800# instead. I have used that brand before and it is easily readable. I just didn't need that strong of mule tape for the projects I do.

GI Type M-9 Bayonet with Sheath Review

I bought this knife as a survival knife in the woods. Being GI like I expected it to more or less function similar to the actual M-9. The Knife's is coated with a material to make it less shiny which is easy to scrape off during use. When I received this knife the blade was not as sharp as I would of liked. After about a 1/2 hour against a electronic sharpener this is now a very sharp knife. The scabbard does work after sharpening but may damage the knife if you attempt to cut too big of a wire. Overall I am happy with my purchase, but would of expected the finish to not scrape away so easily.

Although in the title and description it says that this knife is spring assisted, the one that I received is not. It is thumb assisted and the thumb assist is in an awkward place making it difficult to use. The blade doesn't come very sharp which doesn't really bother me, but it is only sharp on one side. If it was double-edged like I had thought it would be you would cut yourself trying to close it. Also, the compass doesn't work. Other than that, it does have a nice weight to it for a small knife and feels very sturdy and well-made. I would have liked for it to be spring-assisted but for $7 it's ok.
