Perhaps it is unfair to compare these to the Tekton pliers, because these are over twice the price.
However, if you can afford it, these are much nicer. The finish is very smooth. The tips meet nicely when closed. No discoloration, except the flat surface between the two handles. I am keeping these and giving my Tektons away.
The way the 20� angle is done, they can be used as straight or slightly curved pliers.

FastCap PC-1/2 1/2-Inch Pocket Chisel Review

I have only had this item for a month. If problems show up, I will revise my review.

I am restoring an historic house. In the finishing stage I am constantly using a chisel to make minor modifications so I usually have one in my back pocket. If it goes in handle first, I cut myself or scratch something with the chisel end. If it goes in the other way, I quickly have a hole in my pocket. It appeared that this item would correct both problems. So far this is what I can tell you.

Pros:
1. the folding feature protects everything
2. so far the blade has retained a sharp edge
3. in spite of the folding feature, the blade is stable

Cons:
1. I don't think you would want to strike this with a mallet. The rivets at the handle probably wouldn't survive long.
2. the handle, while not uncomfortable, is not as comfortable as the handle of a fine chisel

I knew both of the cons before buying the chisel but decided they would be small inconveniences. I was right. I gave this 5 stars not because it is a great chisel but because it works very well and does exactly what I wanted.

I own several other folding items from this same company. None of them would be my tool of choice for extensive work, but all of them work well for the times when you need to do something simple and quick. I can usually pull the tool out of my pocket and finish the job before I could go to my tool box and return with the proper tool.

Metabo SB18 LT 18-Volt LiPower Hammer Drill/Driver Review

It took awhile to find a battery drill that's not made in China but I'm glad to have found it. This was my first Metabo purchase but not my last. I've bought several more Metabo grinders and drills for work and a sliding compound miter saw for myself. The "LT" series are made in Germany, need to watch some of the European looking drills are made in China. The battery life is outstanding and the power is as equally outstanding. The drill chuck is second to none, it holds drill bits tight and easy to loosen when ready to change bits. The hammer-drill functions well too, then it'll drive the "tap-con" screws with ease.
