Actually four stars for the knife, but zero for the sheath. Seems to be the trend in knives these day. Make a quality knife (for the money) but cheap out on the sheath. The knife is made from the Chinese equivalent of AUS 8 Japanese stainless steel so it is very good value for the money. Full tang and 1/4" thick in the handle (almost too heavy) very sharp and sharp looking. This steel should hold its edge well. The only other thing about the knife that I'm too happy about besides the weight is the shape of the handle. The fit is perfect if holding the knife upright, but very uncomfortable to hold if pointing the blade down. The sheath on the other hand is pure garbage. I threw it away immediately and am still searching for a sheath whose quality is worthy of this knife. So far I have not had much luck finding a sheath that is of good quality and that fits this 5" blade. Also, no one seems to make a sheath for left handers. What gives!!!???
