I have an older portasol P-1k that I purchase around 1991 that still works like a champ. I unfortunately lost this tip during a move. I was quite pleased to find it available here at a reasonable price.

This one is particularly useful for repairing small surface mounted components. I am able to safely remove the smallest resistors and capacitors with this tip and re-soldering is also quite easy on small surface mounted circuits.
